Quick-Pickled Cucumber and Ginger

⅓ cup (3 dl) water

1 cup (2 dl) sugar

½ cup (1dl) vinegar

1 cucumber, finely sliced

1 tsp. fresh ginger

1 yellow onion, finely chopped

PREPARATION:

  • Mix water, vinegar and sugar in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved.

  • Mix in the cucumber, ginger and onion.

  • Serve with the hearty hunter’s stew.
