Rye Bread with Egg, Anchovies, and Radish

4 slices of rye bread

2 tbs butter

4 slices eggs

4-8 filéet Swedish anchovies

2-3 pcs sliced radish

PREPARATION:

There are endless variations to a delicious Swedish breakfast sandwich! A traditional version is, however, rye bread topped with egg, anchovies, and radish.

Here is how chef Niklas Ekstedts recommend boiling the perfect egg:

  • Add eggs in boiling water and cook for 6-7 minutes.

  • Cool down in iced water.

  • Spread some butter on the bread.

  • Peel the eggs.

  • Top bread with sliced eggs, anchovies, and radish.
