Sugared Blackberries with Cardamom and Birch Milk
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Black berries
2 tbs Sugar
½ tsp Grounded cardamom
2 lb Milk
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 bunch birch wood chips
PREPARATION:
Start with cutting birch wood chips if you don’t have this already. Avoid the bark.
Stir blackberries, cardamom and sugar in a tall glass. Set aside.
Heat up milk, sugar and birch wood chips almost to boiling point.
Set aside and let sit for a couple of minutes. Poor the milk through a sieve before serving.
Serve the warm birch milk with the sugared berries.
