Boiled Freshwater Crayfish

INGREDIENTS:

List of ingredients

2-3 kg (70-105 oz.) freshwater crayfish

1 l. (33,8 fl.oz.) water

1 l. (33,8 fl.oz.) dark ale

100 g. (3 ½ oz.) salt

100 g. (3 ½ oz.) sugar

1 bunch of dill tops

3 tsp. caraway

PREPARATION:

  • Boil everything together, except the crayfish, in a large saucepan. Add the crayfish to the saucepan and put the lid on. Boil for ten minutes and then allow the crayfish to cool in the stock.

  • Serve with bread, mayonnaise and lemon.
