Nougat with Almonds and Hazelnuts

One of the easiest candy recipes there is, wrap it in waxed paper, and tie a nice ribbon around it. It’s an easy-to-make great gift!

INGREDIENTS:

List of ingredients

½ lb (250 g) nougat

¼ lb. (125 g) dark chocolate

2 oz (50 g) flaked almonds

2 oz (50 g) chopped roasted hazelnuts 1 ¾ oz (50 g) raisins

2 oz (50 g) walnuts

Zest of 1 orange

PREPARATION:

  • Melt the nougat and chocolate in a saucepan over another saucepan with boiling water. When it is completely melted together, mix in the nuts. You may chop the nuts before adding them if you prefer smaller bites.

  • Line a bread loaf tin with waxed paper.

  • Pour in the mixture. Let it harden for a few hours in the fridge before removing it.

  • Cut to pieces and EAT!
